
Garrett C. A. Kerr joined Riordan, Fulkerson, Hupert & Coleman as an associate attorney. He is licensed to practice in Illinois. Professionally, Mr. Kerr is a member of the Chicago Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He works along with Mr. Nima B. Taradji, a partner of the firm, handling various tort claims.
He represents clients in all areas of personal and catastrophic injury with care and dedication. Having worked alongside his father, a physician, for much of his life, Mr. Kerr can readily understand victims’ injuries and strives toward making injury victims whole again by obtaining the best possible recovery. He prides himself on understanding the medical, legal, and human intricacies of each client’s situation.
Mr. Kerr was educated at Eastern Michigan University (B.S., Psychology 2005) and DePaul University College of Law (J.D., 2009). While at DePaul, Mr. Kerr was a Health Law Fellow and served as an associate editor for the DePaul Health Law Newsletter. He also wrote for Virtual Mentor, the American Medical Association’s ethics journal. While in law school, Mr. Kerr served as a law clerk at Riordan, Fulkerson Hupert & Coleman as well as a legislative consultant for the American Osteopathic Association.
Mr. Kerr was born in 1982 in Frankenmuth, Michigan. An avid golfer and voracious reader, he is also a longtime amateur magician.
