
Mary C. Bryant, admitted to bar 1977, Illinois; 1977 U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois. Education University of Illinois (B.A. 1973); Loyola University of Chicago (J.D. 1977). She was a Legal Writing Instructor at Loyola University of Chicago from 1977-79. Mary has been the author of a substantial number of articles in the field of environmental law. She has worked both in private practice and in house for a major insurance company. Mary has been active in both the American and Chicago Bar Associations, serving on the following: Standing Committee on Environmental Law 1997-1998; Council, Section of Natural Resources, Energy, and Environmental Law 1996-1998; Standing Committee on Membership, 1994-97; Vice-Chair, Special Committee on Environmental Litigation, 1995-1997; Environmental Liaison to Standing Committee on Solo and Small Firm Practice, 1993-1998. Chicago Bar Association, Chair, Environmental Law Committee 1989-90. She has been named by peers as one of Illinois’ Leading Attorneys in Land Use and Environmental Law. Practice concentration: Civil and appellate litigation, particularly landlord-tenant litigation, environmental law, environmental insurance coverage.
